CHEALY.NET ("we," "us," "our") operates the AI-powered interactive learning platform at https://chealy.net, offering AI Coach, Interactive Books, and the Creator Marketplace. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and your choices.

Information we collect

Depending on how you use CHEALY.NET we may collect: account information (name, email, password hash); profile and creator details; learning progress, bookmarks, and library data; AI Coach messages and uploads you submit; marketplace purchase history; creator payout and tax identifiers processed by Stripe; device and browser data; IP address and security logs; cookies and similar technologies; and communications you send to support.

Authentication

We use secure session mechanisms and password hashing to authenticate you. If you use password reset, we send a time-limited link to your email. We do not store plaintext passwords. Session tokens may be stored in HTTP-only cookies on your device.

Cookies & similar technologies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in, protect against abuse, and remember preferences. We may use analytics cookies or similar tools to understand product usage in aggregate. You can control non-essential cookies through your browser settings; disabling essential cookies may limit functionality.

Analytics

Payments (Stripe)

Subscriptions and marketplace purchases are processed by Stripe, Inc. and its affiliates. Stripe collects payment card and billing details directly according to Stripe's privacy policy. We receive limited payment metadata (such as customer ID, subscription status, last four digits, and transaction amounts) to fulfill orders, prevent fraud, and support creators. We do not store full payment card numbers on CHEALY.NET servers.

AI interactions

When you use AI Coach, book generation, narration, or related tools, we process your prompts, attachments, and context needed to deliver the feature. This may involve third-party AI providers under contractual safeguards. Do not submit sensitive personal data (government IDs, health records, financial account numbers) unless you accept the risk of processing. AI outputs may be logged for safety, quality, and billing.

How we use information

We use information to provide and improve CHEALY.NET; personalize learning; process payments and creator payouts; communicate about your account; prevent fraud and abuse; comply with law; and enforce our Terms.

Sharing

We share data with service providers (hosting, payments/Stripe, AI, email delivery) only as needed to operate CHEALY.NET. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security. We do not sell your personal information.

Data retention

We retain account and learning data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for backups, billing, disputes, and legal compliance. Security logs may be retained for a limited period. You may request deletion subject to exceptions (e.g., completed transactions, legal holds).

Account deletion

You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data by emailing support@chealy.net from your registered email address. We will verify your request and delete or anonymize data where feasible, except data we must retain for legal, tax, fraud-prevention, or completed transaction purposes.

Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls, and monitoring designed to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Your rights

Children
